Excellent cooling. Very quiet

By A. Wenzke - See all my reviews

This model is newer inside than the larger, non-counter depth model RS275ACRS. I returned that model to get this one and am very glad I did.

1. This model has interior LED lights when you open the refrigerator instead of the hotter old bulbs like the 275.

2. I am somewhat compulsive about temperature control. I have two precision thermometers, one in the fridge and one in the freezer compartment. On the RS275ACRS, the temperatures were nowhere near what the external display was reporting them as. On this model, however, the refrigerator is usually within 0.2 deg F of the reported temperature (at coldest setting of 34F, thermometer reports 34.1 whereas the 275 would be all over the place, never lower than 37 or so). In the freezer, this model is rock solid at -10 F when the external display is -14 F. I consider this excellent, as most freezers can't get this low. The 275 was lucky to get to -7 F with the display at -14 F. And yes, I allowed plenty of calibration time and took multiple readings over weeks. So, in my testing anyway, they have definitely upgraded the innards since the 275.

Soccer Mom

By Mary "Soccer Mom" (Tampa, FL USA) - See all my reviews

We bought this refrigerator a few months ago and just love it!! The door display will show pictures, has tools such as a conversion chart, a nutrition guide. It is so cool! It hold everything that you need. With teenage boys that love to eat and play soccer we need lots of room in the refrigerator. The ice maker doesn't make too much ice at a time but just store some in the freezer. No big deal. We would strongly recommend it!

Great for mini home theater

By EarlyMon (New Mexico, USA) - See all my reviews

I've been an HDTV owner for six years and during that time, I've assisted about two dozen friends in their HDTV home theater setups. I've just upgraded to the Samsung LN52B750 and I couldn't be happier. For reference, I'm upgrading from a Samsung DLP and I own another Samsung LCD HDTV.

There's a lot that's misunderstood about this TV, so rather than the usual Pros and Cons, I'd like to share how I'm getting viewing value from this set.

First, if you're reading this, you're either already an LCD owner or have read about them - and have read about this new breed and if you're like I was, you're wondering what's what.

Color swirls - you never read about this, but if you've watched TV on an LCD set in the past, especially with standard def (SD) stations, you've seen it. The backgrounds look like compressed colors from jpg photo files. My earlier LCD HDTV (8ms response time) had it - this one simply does not. (I did have trouble watching compression artifacts in a movie from 1930 on TCM on this TV - but that movie was so hosed, I can't blame the TV only.)
